Period Poverty is defined as a lack of access to menstruation products, education, hygiene facilities and waste management as a result of financial constraints or negative stigmas associated with menstruation. Period poverty is a global public health issue that affects millions of people every day - yet most of us don’t know much about it, nor do we feel comfortable discussing our periods in general. But that’s crazy!
